I'm planning to leave for my run at 7 to make sure I have enough time to get ready for college. I'm not entirely sure how long it'll take me to run the 6k.
When I was training for my 10k, I ran this route in 35 minutes. It's been a week or two since I did a long run though, so I'm not sure what I'll finish it in.
I'd be happy with 40 minutes, so I'll set that as my goal for tomorrow and see how I get on. My arms feel like they're about to fall off!
I always knew I had weak arms, but I'm beginning to realise just how weak they are! Goal: Get up and go for a run at 7am tomorrow morning. Goal time is 40 minutes.
Last night I did the first day of the 30 Day Shred Level 1. I was surprised how quickly the 27 minutes went. I found the workout quite tough, but I still felt like I could have done more after it was finished.
I actually ended up doing some more pushups when it was over! For me, the exercises focusing on arms were a lot harder than legs, as I have pretty much zero upper body strength.
I definitely want to keep doing this for 30 days to see what results I get. One thing I was surprised to notice was that my back muscles were quite sore today.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a consultation with a personal trainer in my gym I get three free consultations as part of the membership.
He measured my weight and height to get my BMI. The trainer asked me about my goals which were to increase my speed, strength and endurance and created a workout routine for me.
It starts with a minute warm up on either the bike or rowing machine whichever I feel like , then minutes interval training on the treadmill.
I then move into the free weight room and do Russian Twists, push-ups, planks and side planks. I also added weighted squats to this routine.
He recommended that I do the workout times a week. I have done the workout quite a few times now and I find it really good.
On the 9th of March I ran my first ever race. It was a 10k in my area and I was really nervous beforehand.
I was running with a friend, so I think having someone else there really helped me along, because I had to keep running to keep up with him.
I was really pleased when I looked up the results online and saw that I finished 14th in the females out of females that finished.
I was 45th overall out of the that finished. This race made me excited to keep training and improve my time. I have also followed a lot of fitness and health accounts on Twitter and Instagram.
I find this really helps me stay motivated. About Me. I decided to start this blog as a way to motivate myself.
If reading this blog helps to motivate other people too, even better! I will be setting mini goals for myself along the way, but my main target is to get in shape for the summer.
I think it was the change from home-cooked meals to cooking for myself.
