With this unrated version there was some nudity so if you are watching with younger kids I would definitely make sure you fast forward - there is some overall sexual content but nothing too insane or outrageous.
I watched it with my high school age sons and fast forwarded through the nudie bar scenes which were unnecessary in my opinion and still enjoyed the movie.
My sons wouldn't have minded watching that part but yeah not with their mom in the room LOL. Overall it was a really good comedy - I love Vince Vaughn and he played his usual over talkative character really well.
I don't know if getting hired at Google is really like that but the Quidditch match alone made me want to work there! Good movie - definitely check it - one of those comedies with a learning lesson at the end.

I really, really wanted to like this movie but it lacking even just one line or scene worthy of cultural lexicon. Sadly, neither Vaughn nor Wilson played like champions here.

The movie is actually really lighthearted, entertaining and genuinely touching at some points. In that regard, if you want to watch a random comedy with the family then this would be a good option.

The story was fun and sweet-natured. The only issue I had was that, thankfully, Google does NOT pit its employees or interns against each other in competitions.
It was so positive and sweet. Who wouldn't want these guys at their company? It was kind of depressing also that there was only one woman on the team, which, sadly, reflects my experience at Google Engineering and other Silicon Valley companies but it was awesome that she was treated respectfully and the only dating that went on was between similarly aged characters for a change!
This movie would have been great if they would have just left out the porn scenes. Both actors are good in this and other stuff they do but why do they always have to have porn added.
Says a lot about their own personal character that makes me twinge. The computer world of employment was fascinating however. It made me wonder if Google is actually like this!
If it is our world is really radically changing as far as employment environments go. It leaves tons of room for employee creativity and free food at work that is really great!
I have never been to Google headquarters so I don't know how much of this was fiction on the part of the creators of the story line.
However it seems like a really great place to be and extremely challenging! The one thing this movie did do was show how older adults still have a value and a purpose even in a world basically taken over by the young.
In that respect I enjoyed the fact that I am not the only older adult wondering if I can fit into this new era of technology.
As a preface, I should say that I truly enjoyed Wedding Crashers, which is why I was looking forward to this movie. The comedy chemistry between Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson made that movie, and I was not disappointed to see it still there in this movie.
Oh, sure, there's not a lot of surprises here; two middle-aged, likeable, out-of-work guys desperate for jobs land internships amongst the twenty-somethings at Google and comedy is supposed to ensue, and it does, for the most part.
The tech-savvy twenty-somethings look down their noses at the over-the-hill dinosaurs; those dinosaurs teach the twenty-somethings how to tear themselves away from their electronics and reconnect with life, and people.
Some of the gags are a little tired, and a little trite, but the movie does a good job of avoiding becoming too corny.
For me, the obligatory "bad guy" is fairly one-dimensional and disposable, and the "love interest" isn't all that well developed as a character, but overall the movie hits all the right notes for a buddy comedy in a pleasant way, and it moves along at an entertaining pace that makes its almost two hour running time seem short.
